Police enquiries are continuing after this afternoon’s incident
A 20-year-old man was stabbed on a west London bus in the middle of the day.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the terrifying incident at Heston Road in Hounslow, at roughly 2pm today.
The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
A video shared on Twitter shows a bus taped off inside a police cordon as forensic officers examine the scene.
According to locals cited in the post, the attacker ‘ran away’ but this is yet to be confirmed.
The Metropolitan Police have now launched a desperate hunt for them.

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Police were called at about 2.05pm on Sunday to reports of a man stabbed on board a bus on Heston Road in Hounslow.
‘Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
‘The 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
‘The A4 was closed to traffic whilst emergency services were on scene.’
No arrests have yet been made and police are continuing their enquiries.
