The back page of the Daily Mail says Team GB toast two more medals on the final day to secure their second-highest total on foreign soil as tally hits 65 in Paris.
Emma Finucane became the first British woman in 60 years to win three medals at the same Olympics — as Team GB bosses hailed their ‘incredible’ medal haul.
Welsh cyclist Finucane and weightlifter Emily Campbell claimed bronzes on the last day in Paris to take Britain’s final medal tally to 65, one better than at Tokyo three years ago.
‘Sixty-five medals is a brilliant achievement,’ said Andy Anson, British Olympic Association chief executive. ‘It is our second-best tally ever on foreign soil. That’s something incredible to celebrate.’
