    Macron denies ‘false information’ regarding the arrest of Pavel Durov

    French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Pavel Durov’s arrest was “part of an ongoing judicial investigation.” The Russian billionaire and Telegram CEO was detained on Saturday night at a Paris airport.

    Macron denies ‘false information’ regarding the arrest of Pavel Durov

    Macron’s remarks on Monday afternoon marked the first official confirmation of Durov’s arrest, nearly two days after his private jet landed at an airport outside Paris. The president emphasized that the arrest was not politically motivated.

    I have seen false information regarding France following the arrest of Pavel Durov.
