Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson delivered a tear-jerking message in his final public appearance prior to his death in which he revealed his hope that football fans would remember him.

The Swede, who passed away aged 76 on Monday following his battle with pancreatic cancer, was in charge of England’s ‘Golden Generation’ men’s football team from 2001 to 2006.

Eriksson revealed in January that he had a ‘best case a year’ to live and a new documentary about his life was released on Amazon Prime last Friday.

‘I hope you will remember me as a positive guy trying to do everything he could do,’ Eriksson said, poignantly.

Oasis ticket scramble for reunion tour dates could be ‘worse than Taylor Swift’ — live

Oasis have finally announced their highly anticipated UK and Ireland tour, their first gigs in 16 years and tickets are going to be like gold dust.

Noel and Liam Gallagher, who have put their long-running feud aside, will kick off their Oasis Live 25 world tour with dates in Manchester and London as well as Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin next summer.

However, getting tickets — with unknown prices — could prove an impossible task with fans worried it will be harder than Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

Tickets will go on sale on August 31 at 9am and if you thought Swift’s ticket buying was frantic, this is going to be full-blown madness as fans scramble to secure their place at the reunion tour.
