The i says Mourners have been warned they face queues of up to 35 hours to pay their respects to the Queen as she lies in state.
Up to three quarters of a million people are expected to travel to view the Queen’s coffin at the lying-in-state, which will last for five nights.
But more than half could be disappointed, with capacity for only 350,000 people to enter Westminster Hall over the four full days, according to The Times.
It’s reported that the Government’s emergency Cobra planning committee was told yesterday that queues for Westminster Hall could last 27 to 35 hours.
