Scott van-der-Sluis can’t get enough of Love Island – just three weeks after he was dumped from the UK version he’s headed to America for round two.

The football player is taking his search for love across the pond and is back once again as a bombshell.

In a teaser for his entrance, Scott is seen storming down a path lit by candles and taking a seat at a table set up for two.

In the introductory clip, he proclaimed: ‘I’m Scott, I’m 22 and I’m from Wales in the UK.

‘I was in Love Island UK. I didn’t find love so I thought why not take it international.’

It’s not long before a fellow love hopeful joins him on the date. As she approaches Scott she instantly recognises him and says: ‘Wait, stop, you’re from the UK one.’

People are gagged to see Scott’s surprise appearance and have reacted on social media.

‘The Love Island USA Teaser for Scott’s entrance in the villa has been released, this is actually INSANE bc what?? Scott is on Love Island USA??!,’ wrote one shocked viewer.

Another added: ‘Pls tell me it’s a dream guys, scott on love island usa ??? i’m dying this is so unserious’.

Other people couldn’t hide their disappointment as this could be the end of a possible Scott and Catherine Agbaje reconciliation.

The pair have plenty of shippers for their romance, and many hoped they’d be able to work it out in the real world.

One person wrote: ‘So all that shipping between Scott and Catherine for him to go on Love Island USA.’

Social media has been filled with ‘breadcrumbs’ of a relationship including an intense hug shared by fellow contestant Ruchee Gurung on Instagram live, and she also caught them on FaceTime to each other.

Ruchee, 24, is basically a detective at this point, and should probably ask Coleen Rooney if she’s got any jobs going.

Catherine, 22, doesn’t seem to be down about it all though – she’s currently living it up in Majorca on a girls’ holiday.

Love Island USA is available to watch on ITVX.
