Love Island’s movie night returns with one hell of a bang

Love Island heats up tonight as movie night proves too much for one couple.

It’s not movie night without drama and it’s finally time for the islanders to watch what happened at Casa Amor when their backs were turned.

Fans have been anticipating a big bust-up between recently reunited Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas, who shared a little make-up kiss on Friday, July 7.

Movie night is a regular game on the long-running reality show, which lets contestants win clips from the series so far in a girls vs boys quiz.

While the Islanders unwind in the garden, a text comes through announcing it’s time for the often eventful game.

‘Islanders, It’s time to get your glam game strong and hit the red carpet as tonight is Movie Night #FrontRowSeats #SweetOrSalty,’ reads the message.

Each team answers a question by text and the one who has the closest to the correct answer is allowed to pick the movie of their choice.

This movie night includes some damning titles including; The Lying, The Mitch and The Wardrobe, Sin-Der-Ella and The Full Montel.

Whitney, a fan favourite to win, is clearly on board with the drama as the lights go down and she says: ‘This is my kind of night, roll the tapes, roll the tapes.’

The 25-year-old has been unafraid of diving into the arguments this season, calling out Tyrique by reading him his own tattoo and calling out Catherine during a recoupling.

She jokes: ‘Well Movie Night was Movie Nighting!’ after the clips broke out serious arguments with the girls focused on Tyrique’s actions.

Fans were already predicting the end for Tyrique and Ella, despite things seeming to be smoothed over.

The footballer appeared to be encouraging the boys’ actions in Casa Amor, leaving the girls needing deep chats by the first pit.

Tyrique isn’t the only one causing trouble though as Ella and Ouzy’s flirting and cuddles in bed, or their kisses during games could also be aired for all to see.

Once again Whitney voices her opinion, scathingly saying: ‘It’s giving sheep.’

Two Islanders had a heated argument while other revelations left a couple on the rocks – we’re not sure they can recover from this.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
