Amy Hart revealed she would be leaving her newborn baby in the UK when she jets off on honeymoon with her partner Sam Rason.

The former Love Island star, 30, announced the birth of her tiny tot on Tuesday with a gallery of adorable pictures showing off their latest arrival.

She updated followers after she welcomed her baby boy with a caption that read: ‘Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love.

‘Proper introductions to come but now we’re home safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes.

‘We really appreciated it over the last few days [here’s a few delivery room snaps, can’t wait to show you his beautiful, non post birth swollen face [sic]’.

Despite giving birth, the reality star already had her sights set on a childless honeymoon with her beau.

The couple’s plans to holiday at Disneyland’s Florida resort were interrupted by the news of Amy’s pregnancy and so they decided to reschedule for a later date.

A Disney die-hard fan, the ex-islander revealed she was eager to show her lover the theme park without a baby in tow.

She told Giovanna Fletcher on the Journey to the Magic podcast: ‘I was supposed to be in Disney World right now, but I fell pregnant. I had a whole two-week trip planned in January.

‘But I’m still trying to convince my boyfriend that we need to go on our honeymoon minus the baby because you need to do it as adults before you go back to do all the queuing up for meeting characters, and the little rides.’

The star explained her other half wasn’t quite as keen on the idea as she was.

She admitted: ‘When I met my boyfriend the second conversation was “have you ever been to Disney?” No. All right, OK.

‘So, he’d been to a UK theme park that is just rides, no atmosphere and because he’s got dodgy blood pressure he went on a rollercoaster, passed out on it and then got taken off by the Saint John’s Ambulance people and had to go home.

‘I love the atmosphere and the music and the smell and just that everything is so tied in together. I’m trying to convince him that he’s going to be fine’.
