It’s day three on Love Island, and already the second bombshell has arrived – they are not messing around this year.

The new arrival is none other than Whitney Adebayo, and she’s a 25-year-old entrepreneur from London.

Whitney describes herself as ‘really silly and funny,’ but adds she can also get ‘deep.’ While she’s looking for man with, ‘a good sense of humour, emotional depth’ as well as someone who makes time for her. That final one does feel like the bare minimum especially when trapped in a villa.

She’s starting her search with André Furtado, who is ecstatic when he gets a text that reads: ‘André, Whitney is waiting for you at the beach for a champagne date! Please get ready to leave the Villa. #BigDayForDre #BaeWatch.’

He exclaims in the beach hut: ‘You’ve made my day!’

The boys are on hand to hype André, 21, up before the blind date, and they give him one final pep talk. Tyrique says: ‘You got this. You’re the man, be yourself. Bring it home for the lads.’

André was previously partnered with Catherine Agbaje, but she was picked to be in a couple by bombshell Zachariah Noble on yesterday’s episode.

The new ‘couple’ also got to head on their own date. They are sent up to the terrace to enjoy a romantic fruit and chocolate platter in private.

The romance is turned up when Catherine, 22, feeds Zachariah, 25, a strawberry, and she quizzes him on his decision to choose her.

‘Did you go in knowing you were gonna pick me?’ she enquires to which Zachariah confirms: ‘Yes, for sure. I’d be silly not to.’

He adds that it wasn’t a hard decision and their vibe is ‘completely 100% natural.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Tyrique Hyde, 23, flirts with Jess Harding.

When Jess, 22, asks him how things are going with Ella Thomas, 23, he says: ‘Obviously, it’s going well but I’m not closed off, I’ve said that from the jump to everyone.’

He quickly adds: ‘You looked sexy this morning.’

Jess asks Tyrique if his charming lines are something he often dishes out, to which he responds: ‘I’m honest! I say how I feel” before going on to add: “You’re a good kisser.’

Early favourites Mitchel Taylor, 26, and Molly Marsh, 21, also enjoy some one-on-one time, when he invites her up to the terrace to tell her something.

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
