Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has admitted she ‘didn’t believe’ she had been invited to King Charles III’s coronation celebrations, taking place this weekend.
The 24-year-old will be amongst guests attending a reception prior to the coronation concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday, one day after King Charles is crowned at Westminster Abbey in London.
She revealed earlier this week that she had received an invitation, which read: ‘The Master of The King’s Household is commanded by Their Majesties to invite Ms Tasha Ghouri to a Reception to be given at Windsor Castle prior to The Coronation Concert on Sunday, 7th May, 2023 at 5.30pm.’
Tasha – who found fame on the hit ITV2 reality show last summer – nabbed an invite due to her work as an ambassador for The Royal National Institute for Deaf People, which Queen Camilla is a patron of.

The social media influencer, who was born deaf and uses a cochlear implant, has now opened up on her invitation and revealed she will be attending the reception with boyfriend Andrew Le Page, who she met on Love Island.
She told The Mirror: ‘It’s a great opportunity to be invited. And it’s gonna be a great day, and I get to go with Andrew as well so we will go together.
‘I didn’t expect it at all. I think it’s because I do a lot of charity work behind the scenes that not everyone really knows about. So I think that’s kind of why it’s come about, but I’m excited. I can’t wait.’
She added: ‘The actual invite came in a few days ago. To actually see it in person. I was like “Wow”, I didn’t believe it.’

Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, Take That, Nicole Scherzinger, Paloma Faith, Steve Winwood and Olly Murs will all perform at the concert this weekend.
Lost Without You hitmaker Freya Ridings was also due to perform, but it was announced on Friday night that she had been forced to pull out of the event due to illness.
She has been replaced by singer-songwriter Zak Abel, who has collaborated with the likes of Gorgon City, Kygo, and Tom Misch in the past.
