Love Island fans have been left beyond baffled by George Fensom comparing himself to none other than a lasagne, and his explanation that followed.
The 24-year-old, who faced controversy from reports ahead of his stint in the villa, is currently coupled up with Jess Harding, but has been getting on with Molly Marsh and Whitney Adebayo.
In a chat with Whitney during Friday’s episode, he began: ‘The last thing I want to be is a d**khead, my vibe now is… I don’t want problems, I want peace.
‘That’s me in a nutshell – what you see is what you get.’
When Whitney compared him to a ‘dark horse’ with ‘layers’, he countered: ‘I’m like a lasagne.’
‘I’m just dropping lasagne game.’

Trying to explain himself, he went on: ‘You’ve got the cheeky side, then you’ve got the funny side, then you’ve also got a more of a sensitive and deeper side.’
Whitney then questioned him: ‘Are you smart?’ to which he bluntly replied: ‘No.’
‘The thing is, if you said, what’s the root of square 2, then I would not have a clue, so I’m smart in my own way, like I’m smart in the sense of like, I know how to cross the road when there’s no cars coming.
‘Different levels of smart – I can tell you’ve got 12 GCSEs.’
Love Island viewers didn’t have a clue what to think, with one writing: ‘George is a lasagne?? wtf.’
Another said: ‘”I’m like a lasagne” haha someone please pick George the boy deserves more time.’
‘Me trying to figure out which part of a lasagne is the sensitive side and which part is the funny side,’ another joked.
This comes after George had viewers pretty confused when he mistook a Casanova for a car… yep, really.

Chatting to cameras in his introductory VT, the reality star began: ‘I’m George, I’m 24 years old, I’m a business development executive from Bedford. In a nutshell, it’s just a glorified salesman.’
He went on: ‘My mum actually calls me a Casanova… I don’t know what that is.
‘I thought it was a car.’
It wasn’t the strongest start…
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
