Multiple Tube lines, including parts of the Piccadilly and District lines, are facing partial closures this weekend in London due to planned engineering works. Transport for London (TfL) has implemented replacement bus services and urged travellers to use alternative routes while some services are affected.

Transport for London (TfL) has announced planned engineering works leading to closures on multiple lines, including the District line which will be closed between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. The Elizabeth line will operate a reduced service on Sunday, with two trains per hour serving Heathrow Terminal 4 and additional connections available at other terminals.

Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed that the District line will remain closed between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway throughout the weekend, urging travellers to use replacement bus services. Ahead of the disruptions, TfL has advised commuters to plan their journeys in advance and explore alternative transport options.

What remains unclear — It is not specified how the service disruptions on the weekend will specifically impact commuters’ travel plans and timings.

Several lines across the London Underground are undergoing planned engineering and upgrade works, including:

    District line

The District line will be closed between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway all day today and tomorrow. Transport for London (TfL) has urged anyone travelling to use the replacement bus service operating between Turnham Green and Rayners Lane.
