Police boats and ID checks: Locals tell of life in Cornwall during G7 summit disruption

The i says Cornish locals are facing restaurant closures, traffic delays and a heavy police presence as the world’s leaders descend on the county for the G7 summit.  

A massive security operation is underway to keep the area and its picturesque coastline secure. Snipers have been stationed on rooftops and even in the gardens of local residents to keep world leaders safe and their entourage safe.
