Boris Johnson calls Joe Biden ‘breath of fresh air’ as PM attempts to turn his back on Trump era at G7 summit

The i says Boris Johnson has attempted to turn the page on the Donald Trump era by praising Joe Biden as “a breath of fresh air” following their first ever meeting at the G7 summit in Cornwall.

The Prime Minister and the US President agreed to “project our values around the world together” – singling out climate change and Nato, both rejected by Mr Trump, as areas of collaboration between the UK and America.

When the odd hard question comes Joe Joe Biden’s way, he’s been heard to say ‘give me a break’ and leave. He did this on a global forum yesterday at the G7 question time. Things were going well, Biden must have been prepped by his wife and the Biden friendly journalists. The last question came out of left field. Joe was not amused.
