Liam Payne is ready to return to the spotlight following his hospital stay.
The Strip That Down singer spent time in a wellness clinic in the US last year, having spoken openly about his mental health struggles and alcohol addiction.
Back in September, Liam was also rushed to hospital after falling ill while on holiday in Italy, just weeks after he was treated for a serious kidney infection and forced to cancel his tour.
At the time, his family was ‘worried sick’, with Liam’s mum saying she felt ‘helpless’ as he received treatment in another country.
Thankfully, the boyband album is now feeling like himself again and he’s excited to share new music with fans.
Liam wrote in a newsletter sent to his loyal supporters: ‘Hey everyone. Just wanted to send an email checking in and saying hi – it’s been a while!

‘I’ve been travelling a lot and feeling in a much better state health-wise. I really needed the break.’
While fans were pleased to hear from him, the 30-year-old singer didn’t share many details about his return to the public eye.
He simply teased: ‘There’s so much I can’t talk about right now that’s coming up but you’ll all find out soon enough.’
Liam’s update comes a few weeks after it was reported he had been shooting his comeback music video in Ireland ahead of his chart comeback next year.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: ‘Liam flew to Ireland in October to film the video, but while fans saw him out and about he managed to keep the shoot under wraps.

‘Initially, the release was for the end of 2023 but with Liam being admitted to hospital in September the timeline has been pushed back.’
The former One Direction singer is now planning to drop his new single ‘in the first few months of 2024’ and is excited about what’s to come.
‘He’s now doing great and the plan is to drop the comeback single in the first few months of 2024. After a lot of searching, he’s finally found his sound.’
It was initially reported that Liam’s trip to Ireland was for him to film a new travel series in what would’ve been a rather different career move.
The National Trust at Carrick-a-Rede posted on social media about welcoming the pop star and wished him a pleasant stay in Northern Ireland recently, with Liam also seen in Strandhill Co Sligo where fans were keen to snap selfies.
At the time, The Mirror claimed Liam, who was seen cruising around in a camper van, was shooting a travel programme, but it now looks like he was easing himself back into music.
Liam’s last release was in August 2021, when he dropped the single Sunshine, which was featured in the film Ron’s Gone Wrong.
Then, in May 2023, Liam revealed he was working on his second album.
Liam has slowly become more active on social media again after recovering from his hospital stint, having celebrated his 30th birthday at the end of August and then treated his girlfriend to a series of date nights.

However, his personal life has taken some hits, as Liam was banned from driving after getting caught speeding.
Liam was slapped with the ban in October after he was clocked going 43mph in a maximum 30 zone in West London in his £35,000 Ford Ranger.
As well as being handed a six-month driving ban, Liam was also fined £293 after the incident in February, ‘due to repeat offending’.
