Rockstar Games has started getting ready for tomorrow’s GTA 6 teaser trailer and it seems it’ll be slightly longer than the GTA 5 one.
There is a danger that Tuesday’s premiere of the GTA 6 reveal trailer will be little more than a logo and a promise of more to come, but after all this wait there seems every reason to expect Rockstar Games will try to impress with something a bit more exciting.
Although there have been leaks about the game, such as it being set in Vice City and the protagonists being a Bonnie and Clyde style couple, there’s still no clue as to what the trailer itself will show.
The best indication is what Rockstar did with GTA 5, over a decade ago, which was a 1 minute and 24 second mood piece, showing off locations from the game and some hints at the gameplay, but nothing really on the story or characters.
Rockstar could take a different approach this time but considering how well that worked, and the similar reveal trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, there’s a good chance the GTA 6 teaser will be similar.
It’s all guesswork at this point, but the YouTube URL below is now live and dataminers have worked out that whatever the video is that’s been uploaded to it, it’s 1 minute and 31 seconds long.
Rockstar announced last week that the trailer will premiere at 2pm GMT on Tuesday, December 5. They didn’t say anything else though and so far there’s no sign that they’re planning any kind of associated livestream.
They never have in the past, so that’s not much of a surprise, but it seems the trailer will just suddenly pop into life at 2pm, without any accompanying event.

At that point, the internet will probably, almost literally, break down, as every gamer and their dog tries to watch the trailer at the same time.
GTA 5’s sales figures currently stand at 190 million, so if even just a fraction of that audience try and access the same URL at the same moment pandemonium will ensue.
Although it’ll probably appear on Rockstar’s Twitter and Instagram account at the same time – and will be quickly shared everywhere else just moments later.
