Attempts to evacuate residents caught in crossfire – reports
The civil defence forces are trying to help evacuate residents caught in the crossfire according to an Al Jazeera reporter who is reporting live from Beirut.
Prime Minister Najib Mikati is currently meeting with the heads of security agencies as clashes continue.
