Kim Kardashian was joined by sister Khloe as they visited a prison in LA on Monday to meet with those behind bars.
The 42-year-old has spearheaded a campaign for criminal justice reform over the last few years, using her platform to help some inmates get their sentences commuted.
She also fronted a documentary about her efforts in 2020, shedding light on her efforts with the justice system and advocating for those who she believed to be wrongly incarcerated.
On Monday, the budding lawyer appeared at Los Angeles County’s California State Prison, in Lancaster, as part of REFORM Alliance’s Future Shapers Advisory Council.
Speaking on the day, she explained that she wanted to help ‘change the lives’ of prisoners.
‘It’s always an honor to be able to visit the men and women living behind our prison walls,’ the mom-of-four said, via MailOnline.

‘Hearing the stories of people trapped in the prison system is what drives my commitment to advocate for reform and find ways to leverage my platform to help change lives and laws.
‘Today I was especially thrilled to bring REFORM’s Future Shapers Advisory Council inside the prison as well.
‘We are building up the next generation of leaders and influencers who will join us in this fight.’
Kim and Khloe, 38, went to lunch with the group afterwards, appeared to be followed by a camera crew, suggesting the footage could appear on the upcoming series of their Hulu series.

The Skims designer announced her plans to study law in April, 2019, and passed the baby bar exam in December, 2021, after three failed attempts.
She celebrated her achievement in a lengthy Instagram post at the time, penning: ‘OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!

‘Bottom line is don’t ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!! Set your mind to it and get it done because it feels soooooo good once you get to the other side [sic].’
