Kate Beckinsale puts cannula in friend’s arm as she continues ‘nursing school’ – and she’s a natural

Kate Beckinsale seems to be on a mission to prove there’s nothing she can’t do.

The London-born actress, 50, has enlisted the help of a good friend to help her brush up on her nursing skills.

And while it’s unlikely you’ll see Kate pacing the wards at your local hospital anytime soon, she’s certainly got a steady hand.

The Van Helsing star filmed herself inserting a cannula into a male pal’s arm as he offered her guidance – and she did a pretty good job!

Sharing the video to her Instagram page, Kate joked that she was in ‘nursing school’ from her own home as she concentrated extremely hard on getting it right.

Thanks to a few tips from her friend on which direction to move the needle and how much pressure to apply, Kate managed to get it into his arm, which even shocked her.

‘F***ing hell, did I do it?’, she exclaimed afterwards.

‘Now you’re gonna have loads of goodness in your veins,’ she told him after hooking him up for IV therapy.

While it’s not known exactly what the qualifications are of Kate’s bestie, he does own his own health and wellness company called Lively.

As stated on their social media, they offer ‘mobile IV hydration and vitamin therapy’, which has become all the rage with stars in recent years.

Many celebrities rely on IV vitamin drips to help them feel good and get regular boosts for enhanced energy that rejuvenates them during grueling world tours or lengthy movie shoots.

Madonna has been known to get B12 injections to help with energy, while Gwyneth Paltrow uses IV infusions to help boost her immunity, and Jane Fonda regularly receives treatments that specialise in hydration.

Her latest post comes shortly after she celebrated the big 5-0 with the most extravagant party.

The Underworld star marked the milestone with the likes of Demi Moore, Brendan Scannell, and Rickey Thompson, by her side, with Kate looking stunning in two bedazzled outfits.

Kate gave us all serious FOMO as she shared snaps online, hailing it ‘the most amazing birthday’ full of ‘love and glitter and the best people.’
