Kamala Harris tells Latin American migrants ‘don’t come here’
America’s VP Kamala Harris has emphasized “the power of hope” along with new efforts to fight corruption to persuade Latin Americans to not attempt the dangerous migration to the United States.
Harris said people in the Northern Triangle countries, along with Mexico, need economic development that promises a better future rather than moving to the US.
She warned Guatemalans, “Do not come” to the U.S. “We’re not afraid to enforce our laws and borders,” she declared.
