Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has revealed he’s checking in on Jeremy Clarkson daily after his boss’ recent health issues.
Earlier this month the former Top Gear host, 62, said he’d recently undergone a heart procedure and had experienced a ‘sudden deterioration’ in his health.
Doctors then warned Jeremy he’d been ‘days away’ from getting very ill or worse.
Now his farm manager has shared an update on how Jeremy is going after the recent health scare.
During an interview on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby, Kaleb was asked about their close connection.
‘There’s a real father-son kind of vibe with you two in that way. I love that it’s not just for the cameras, you are friends, aren’t you?’ Sian Welby probed.
‘Yeah, yeah. 100% Yeah,’ Kaleb replied.
After being asked about how Jeremy was feeling, Kaleb explained how he’d been checking in.
‘Yeah, yeah. I’m there every day. I mean, I’m at the far every day, or we’ll text every day or, you know, I’ll go in for a cup of tea every day,’ he said.
‘Yeah, he’s doing alright. He’s doing alright, he’s doing good,’ he added.
His comments came after Jeremy explained he realised something was wrong during a swim while on holiday last month.

Jeremy said he was left ‘mostly dead’ and was struggling to use stairs and when he got home, a ‘sudden deterioration began to gather pace’.
He then faced symptoms of being ‘clammy’, with a ‘tightness in my chest’, and ‘pins and needles in my left arm’, before seeking medical action.
Jeremy shared in his column for The Sunday Times that he ended up in an ambulance to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where a heart attack was ruled out after he had an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood tests and X-rays.
He said a stent, which can save lives and stop future heart attacks through improving blood flow to the heart, was fitted in around two hours.
Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby airs weekdays from 6:00am – 10:00am across the UK on air, and on Global Player, the official Capital app.
Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
