Josie Gibson was more than happy to take a selfie with a fan while at the airport, before she’s expected to land in Australia for I’m A Celebrity.

In mere days, the new series of the ITV competition will be launching, with a host of celebrities taking on the jungle for the first time.

While the broadcaster is yet to confirm the official line-up, sightings of famous faces at the airport and landing Down Under – including politician and GB News presenter Nigel Farage – has seemingly confirmed much of the speculation.

This Morning star Josie, 38, who was heavily rumoured for months to be taking part, has been pictured at Heathrow airport – and she didn’t shy away from being spotted while getting ready to board her flight.

In one photograph taken at the airport, a cheerful Josie could be seen taking a selfie with someone who appeared to be a fan.

At another moment, she jovially nattered with airport staff before making her way through security, before reportedly making her way to her economy seat.

Josie merged elegant dressing with casualwear for her journey, choosing to wear trainers for her trip while also staying warm in a smart black trench coat with brown detailing.

Her coat matched her brown satchel bag, while she wheeled a small suitcase for her travels.

Very soon, the This Morning star will have to get used to life without luxuries for a short amount of time, with the launch of I’m A Celebrity coming next weekend.

Josie isn’t the only star from the rumoured line-up who’s been seen heading to Oz for the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Former Ukip leader Nigel Farage, 59, is the first of the heavily-speculated cast to be seen arriving in Australia.

The broadcaster wore a Remembrance poppy on his pink jacket as he arrived at Brisbane Airport in Australia on Sunday November 12.

Farage’s rumoured appearance on I’m A Celebrity has sparked huge backlash, amid the report that he’s negotiated a deal of a fee of up to £1million.

He reportedly headed to Australia in a Singapore Airlines suite cabin, which costs £8,000 for a one-way fare.

It’s been claimed that before the show, Farage’s teams raised concerns of the programme’s ‘cigarette ban’, with producers reportedly considering a rule change so that he would take part.

Last month, Farage opened up about the prospect of participating in I’m A Celebrity, saying that he was seriously considering the opportunity.

‘Unlike previous years, I am giving it very, very serious consideration,’ he said on GB News.

‘Why? Well you’ve got about 10million young people who watch that programme. These are people who don’t really watch the news or read newspapers, but they still care about the country they live in and their futures, and actually, in many ways, the futures of young people in Britain had been blighted.

‘They haven’t got the same opportunities that their parents and grandparents had and they’d love to look for solutions.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns on Sunday November 19 on ITV and ITVX.
