Jonathan Majors has reportedly filed a complaint against the woman he is accused of assaulting during an altercation in New York City earlier this year.

The Creed III actor, who vehemently denies the charges, was arrested and taken into police custody in Manhattan in March after allegedly assaulting a woman, who has not been named, in a car.

He was charged with several counts of assault and harassment and his trial is due to start on August 3.

Following his latest court appearance last Tuesday, Majors, 33, is said to have met with law enforcement the next day at a precinct in downtown Manhattan to file a domestic violence incident report.

It’s said that the Marvel actor made a complaint alleging that the woman became ‘drunk and hysterical’ and caused him pain and bleeding. According to Insider who obtained the documents, Majors claimed the woman had attacked him on previous occasions but he did not file reports.

On the form, police reportedly ticked ‘yes’ after asking Majors a series of questions, including: ‘Is suspect capable of killing you or children?’, ‘Is suspect violently and constantly jealous of you?’ and ‘Has the physical violence increased in frequency or severity over the past six months?’

The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star allegedly admitted to grabbing the victim to put her back inside the car, as she ‘grabbed for his face, coat and phone’ allegedly leaving him with a significant cut on his face.

In the report, Majors stated: ‘I was worried she would be hurt by traffic. So I physically picked her up and put her in the car.’

The woman is also accused of spending between $6,000-$7k (£4,200-£5.5k) on Majors’ credit card after the incident.

Following his arrest in March, Majors was released from custody on his own recognisance and granted a limited order of protection.

His accuser claimed he pulled her finger, twisted her arm behind her back and struck and cut her ear while pushing her into the car. Police confirmed at the time that she was treated at a hospital for minor head and neck injuries.

Majors’ lawyer Priya Chaudhry has repeatedly protested his innocence and claimed to have video evidence showing the woman attacking the actor and not the other way around.

AP reports that during his court appearance on June 20, Judge Rachel Pauley wished Majors the ‘best of luck’ as she scheduled his trial, to which he replied: ‘Yes ma’am.’ He was supported by his new girlfriend and actress Meagan Good, who held his hand as they headed inside the courtroom.

Majors is due back in court on August 3 for the start of his trial and faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
