Janice Dickinson, 68, rages as I’m A Celebrity South Africa campmate Paul Burrell, 64, brands them both ‘oldies’

Janice Dickinson and Paul Burrell started out as chums on I’m A Celebrity South Africa – but things soon turned sour.

The pair are currently appearing on our screens in the battle to be crowned the show’s first-ever legend, alongside the likes of Joe Swash, Myleene Klass, and more iconic campmates from years gone by.

And while the model, 68, previously bonded with Paul, 64, and was more than happy to hear his stories about life as a royal butler, he seems to have started getting on her nerves.

In Friday night’s episode, the American star – who first did I’m A Celeb in 2009 – ripped into Paul for calling her ‘old.’

The confrontation came after Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney were each forced to choose two people from their tribes to fight for survival in a trial.

In the end, it was Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and Andy Whyment fighting for Joe’s green team, while Myleene and Jordan Banjo took on the trial for Dean’s yellows.

But according to Paul, it should’ve been a different line-up.

‘You could’ve sacrificed Janice and me to do it, because we would’ve gone out,’ Paul told Joe.

    ‘That’s your opinion!’, Janice blasted.

‘But we’re the oldies,’ Paul argued, but Janice was not impressed.

‘It doesn’t matter! You keep saying you’re an oldie, I’m not a f***ing oldie, honey!’, she raged.

Venting in the Bush Telegraph, the supermodel continued: ‘Paul is constantly mentioning that he and I are the older and weaker ones and it’s starting to get on my nerves a little bit.

‘And I tell him, stop talking like that around me. I don’t like that conversation.’

Back in camp, the former butler said to his fellow campmates that his ‘time is coming’ and he’s ‘happy’ to leave.

‘Everyone’s time’s coming!’, Janice replied, to which Paul said: ‘Yeah but, sooner rather than later.’

Dean, however, also had an opposing view, but had a much more positive way of wording it.

‘I think Paul was trying to say that the older members shouldn’t be here, which I don’t agree with,’ he said.

‘I think you earn your stripes and if you’re in your 60s or 70s and you’re surviving in camp, then wow, of course you deserve your chance here.’

Two people who weren’t so on board though, were Carol Vorderman and Fatima Whitbread, both 62.

The former Countdown star, 62, said she hoped Joe would choose ‘strategically’ when selecting the people to take on the trial, like Shaun Ryder did when he chose Gillian McKeith to pair up with ahead of their exit.

‘Yeah, get rid of the loose ones at the bottom,’ Fatima agreed. ‘It’s only fair.’

‘I’m not happy with the choices,’ Carol added in the Bush Telegraph.

‘I’m not angry with Joe and Dean, they did what they were told, but I’m very much not happy.’

Meanwhile on Twitter, viewers also had strong views.

‘It’s all very well Paul Burrell saying he and Janice should’ve been picked but he didn’t speak up when Joe asked’, one viewer argued.

‘I absolutely agree Carol; Janice and Paul should have been picked’, one wrote.

‘Janice and Paul NEED to go now’, one said adamantly.
