Jamal Musiala’s stance on joining Liverpool from Bayern Munich has been revealed.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are reportedly monitoring Musiala as a ‘possible top replacement’ for Mohamed Salah in 2024.
Salah, considered to be one of the best players in world football, is under contract until 2025 but has been linked a big-money move to the Saudi Pro League.
That has seen the Reds scout for possible replacements, with Bayern star Leroy Sane thought to be one of their options.
But Liverpool are also believed to be looking at Sane’s Bayern team-mate Musiala.
The 20-year-old, who joined Bayern four years ago from Chelsea, has massively impressed during his time with the German champions.
Musiala registered 12 goals and 13 assists across 33 games in the Bundesliga last term, helping Bayern secure the German top-flight title.

That has seen Liverpool linked to the player but the bad news for Klopp’s men is that Musiala has no desire to leave Bayern and a move to Anfield is ‘absolutely unlikely’ at this moment in time, according to reports.
It is claimed that Musiala would instead prefer a move to Real Madrid or Manchester City should he decide to leave Bayern in the next few years.
Musiala has knocked up 25 international caps for Germany, having previously represented England U21s.
