Jadon Sancho looks set to leave Man Utd in the January transfer window (Picture: Getty)
Jadon Sancho has been omitted from Manchester United’s official squad photo in the latest indicator that his future at the club is over.
United are determined to offload Sancho with United boss Erik ten Hag viewing the winger as a disruptive influence on the rest of his squad.
Sancho was involved in a nasty fall-out with Ten Hag this term with the Dutchman publicly slamming his player in the media for his poor application in training.
Sancho responded by claiming he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ by Ten Hag before he was banned from all of United’s first-team facilities as punishment.
It was thought that Sancho could return from the cold if he said sorry to his boss, but there is now a ‘growing feeling’ that Ten Hag will view any potential apology as an ’empty gesture’ and it will not satisfy him.
That means that Sancho is likely to leave in the January transfer window and the Englishman was even omitted from United’s official squad photo on Thursday.
United took an in-person squad photo at their Carrington training complex this week, the first time they have done so since the 2014-15 campaign.

United are prepared to take a ‘significant loss’ on the 23-year-old in January, having splashed out £73m on him in 2021.
