Jadon Sancho has missed Manchester United’s FA Cup tie against West Ham due to illness.
The 22-year-old has impressed after his return to the squad following a three-month absence.
Sancho was expected to start at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening after he came on as a late substitute in United’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
But the winger has been forced to miss the match alongside Luke Shaw, who is sidelined with a minor injury.
‘It’s about using the squad and until this moment, we use everyone,’ Ten Hag told MUTV.

‘They all have to be ready to play, so obviously we make six changes, but the rules and principles are the same
‘One is ill [Sancho], the other [Shaw] is a small injury, I hope it’s not too bad.

‘We’ll have to see how it develops to Sunday, but he’s not available for tonight.
‘We know we have good players in the squad and we can replace that.’
