The front page of the Metro this morning reports on Princess Kate’s return to public duties following her cancer treatment.
The headline reads: “Smiling princess’s return to duties – It’s Kate to be back!”
Kate Middleton looked regal in a burgundy ensemble as she greeted the Emir of Qatar in London today.
The Qatar state visit marks the fifth time the 42-year-old has officially appeared in public since her cancer diagnosis in May 2024.
The Princess of Wales’ autumnal outfit featured a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen burgundy coat, a similar style to many of the tailored pieces we’ve seen her wear before from McQueen, as well as other designers such as Catherine Walker and Laura Green.
For example, the mum-of-three has worn a customised Alexander McQueen double breasted wool coat in several colours before, including dark green, red and brown.

South Korea’s political crisis leads many papers this morning as President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law before the country’s parliament rejected the move. It caused a night of chaos and fear for South Korea and now the president is facing calls for his resignation and calls for impeachment.
The tabloids continue their coverage of the Gregg Wallace scandal as more allegations come to light. The papers report the latest allegations that Wallace groped contestants on MasterChef.
The October Budget has ongoing coverage as the papers speculate on a potential U-turn.
