The back page of the Daily Star leads on Harry Kane’s spot-kick, claiming it was ‘key’ to Bayern Munich’s win, in what the paper calls a ‘7-goal thriller.’
Manchester United faced Bayern Munich in their opening Champions League campaign. Despite Manchester United scoring three goals, Bayern dominated much of the game and Man U had another really poor performance. The paper notes it was Man United’s third loss in a row.
The back page also reports on Arsenal’s opening Champions League match, which they won, saying “Gunning four glory.”
