Chelsea welcome Blackburn Rovers to Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup tonight with Mauricio Pochettino’s side huge favourites to seal a spot in the quarter-finals.

Alongside the FA Cup, the League Cup represents Chelsea’s best hope of getting their hands on some silverware this season with no European football or a Premier League title race to contend with.

And with the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa having already exited the competition, the Blues will fancy their chances of going all the way to Wembley’s final next February.

Here is your full brief ahead of tonight’s fourth round game, including team news and whether or not the match will be shown live on TV.

What time does Chelsea vs Blackburn start?

The game will kick-off tonight (Wednesday, November 1) at 7.45pm.

Is Chelsea vs Blackburn on TV tonight?

Chelsea vs Blackburn will not be shown on TV anywhere in the UK this evening.

Sky Sports have instead decided to show Manchester United vs Newcastle and West Ham vs Arsenal on Sky Sports Football and Main Event respectively.

    Team news

Pochettino will be without eight first team stars in west London tonight, including Mykhailo Mudryk, who wasn’t involved against Brentford owing to a muscle complaint.

Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku remain sidelined for the Blues.

So too is Ben Chilwell, who has travelled abroad to aid with his recovery from a thigh injury.

Benoit Badiashile, who has been on the sidelines since May, has featured on the bench in Chelsea’s last two games and could be given his first minutes of the season.

Enzo Fernandez was absent against the Bees on Saturday following the birth of his second child but is set to return to the fold.

When is the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw?

The draw will take place following the conclusion of Manchester United vs Newcastle, and it will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The quarter-final ties will be held the week commencing December 18.
