Ireland GLOATS and says scared UK will cave in to EU’s demands
The Daily Express says following the G7 summit, Simon Coveney said he expected the UK to back down over the Northern Ireland protocol. Although Boris Johnson claimed he will do everything to solve the issues in Northern Ireland, Mr Coveney revealed he expected the UK to change its approach following pressure from international leaders.
He said: “We hope and expect that, particularly given the pressure that we’ve seen over the few days at the G7, that the British government’s approach will now change and improve in the days and weeks ahead.”
