The Guardian – Hunt bows to Tory demands for tax cuts in bid to revive economy

The Guardian says Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will announce 110 measures to boost Britain’s stagnant economy.

The paper says Hunt’s tax cuts are him bowing to pressure from within the Conservative Party in an effort to close the gap with Labour in the run-up to the next general election – widely expected to be held next year.

The front page features images of the four teenage boys who have died in a car accident in Wales.
