‘Cannot wait for Wolverine to grace our screens again,’ was an Instagram user’s response to the mountain of food.
Hugh delighted fans audiences when he revealed he would be returning to play Wolverine for the highly anticipated anti-hero flick.
He will star opposite Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds who the star shares a light-hearted feud with online.
The star recently commented on the amount of calories he needed to consume in order to achieve his wolf-like stature on This Morning.
‘Food arrives and it’s been counted out and it’s 600 grams of carbohydrates and it’s 270 grams of protein… and a certain amount of fat, I can’t remember the grams, and then I have to eat that food for the day,’ he told the ITV show’s hosts.

During the chat, he also admitted his wife Deborra-Lee was less than sympathetic when it came to his tough regime.
He continued sharing: ‘I can’t tell you how many times I’m like: “Oh babe, I’ve got to eat again” and my wife is like: “Shut up!”
‘Having me complain about eating? She’s like: “Oh poor you, oh you have to have another bite!’”
When taking on the role in 2000, he never anticipated the amount of physical work he would have to put in.
The star admitted: ‘I knew nothing when I went into these films.
‘In fact, in X-Men one, if you look at it, I was cast three weeks before filming and all the scenes with my shirt off had to be pushed to the end… there is one shot, it was the first thing I shot, and the director was trying to hide my body!’
Deadpool 3 is set to be released in cinemas November 8, 2024.
