Tensions have surfaced between former member Jesy Nelson and the remaining trio, with Jesy revealing she has not spoken to them since her departure in 2020, despite wishing them well in their solo careers.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock also hinted at a future reunion, suggesting that the group could come together again in five years to capitalise on their success, while all members are currently pursuing individual projects.

Three years after Little Mix announced their indefinite hiatus, Jade Thirwall has injected fans with some reunion hope by voicing some strong words on the matter.
The Black Magic hitmakers – originally made up of Angel of My Dreams hitmaker Jade, 32, Perrie Edwards, 32, Jesy Nelson, 34, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 33 – won The X Factor in 2011 and went on to find global success, selling over 75million records.
However, things started to go downhill when Jesy, who has just welcomed twins with partner Zion Foster, left the group in 2020 citing mental health struggles.
A year later the remaining members announced Little Mix would be going on an indefinite hiatus to pursue solo careers.
But now fans have been given fresh hope a reunion is on the cards, as Jade told Capital Buzz: ‘There will be a Little Mix reunion if it’s the last thing I do. You know it doesn’t matter how long that takes.’
While Jesy previously admitted she hasn’t talked to the girls since she left the band, for almost a decade the group were inseparable, finding massive success with hits including Sweet Melody, Love Me Like You, Shout Out To My Ex, and Woman Like Me.

Since Jesy’s abrupt exit, things appeared to sour between her and the rest of the group.
Although the three women released a statement in support of her exit announcement, claims later surfaced that Jesy hadn’t broken the news to them in person, with Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie finding out through her lawyers instead.
Rumours of a rift intensified when DMs claiming to be from Leigh-Anne were leaked, in which she appeared to ask a social media star to do a video about Jesy ‘blackfishing’ in her video for Boyz.
Things escalated when Jesy and Nicki Minaj filmed a livestream together, in which Nicki slammed Leigh-Anne as Jesy appeared to laugh along.

Jesy revealed in 2021 on The Graham Norton Show: ‘We’re not talking any more. It is sad but honestly there is no bad blood from my side, and I still love them to pieces and genuinely wish them all the best.
‘I loved my time with them, and we’ve got the most incredible memories together but It’s just one of those things which needs to take time, so who knows.’
In 2023, she doubled down on this admission, saying: ‘No, we haven’t talked since [I left the band]. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting.’
She added to the Sun: ‘I am rooting for all of them. I honestly do wish them all the success as they are all crazy talented.’

Things looked up for Little Mix fans in 2023, when Leigh-Anne shared: ‘We will definitely do a reunion. How can we not?’
Leigh-Anne added on the Happy Place podcast: ‘Let’s enjoy this time now but in five years’ time we’ll get back together, make a load of money.’
Since their hiatus, Jade has carved out a successful solo career for herself – with her stage name JADE – even bagging a BRIT for best pop act.
Having performed at Glastonbury 2025, Jade is taking her debut album That’s Showbiz on tour this year.
Meanwhile, after launching her solo career with the single Forget About Us in 2024 – followed by Tears and You Go Your Way – Perrie is set to release her debut self-titled album on September 26.
Leigh-Anne departed Warner Records and released the 2025 single Been A Minute as an independent artist, and in July she revealed a debut album is also incoming.
In May 2021 Jesy confirmed she’d signed her first ever solo record deal with Polydor Records and months later Boyz, featuring Nicki Minaj, was released, sampling the now-disgraced Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Bad Boys For Life.
Now Jesy has signed a deal with Prime Video for a docu-series called Life After Little, which she announced just days after giving birth to her twins Ocean and Story.
Wrting on social media, she said: ‘I’ll be honest, it’s not been easy as it’s been such a high risk pregnancy, so you’ll see all the highs and lows and rollercoaster of emotions we have been going through.
‘I hope you will all join me on this journey as I really open up and say goodbye to the past and enter this new chapter in my life…’
