Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis and Karsten Warholm, two of the Olympics’ most high-profile athletes, will go head-to-head in a 100m race tonight.

Duplantis set more Pole Vaults records tumbling in Paris as the Swede won his second successive gold medal in Paris.

Warholm, meanwhile, was narrowly pipped to the gold medal in his 400m hurdles race but still holds the world record in the event.

Despite not competing in the 100m professionally, both athletes will put their sprinting talents to the test after a year of back-and-forth arguing about who would win.

With the race taking place tonight, here is everything you need to know…

    What time is the race?

The highly-anticipated race will take place tonight at 8.30pm BST at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich, a day before the Diamond League.

The event has been organised in collaboration with Puma, Red Bull and Weltklasse Zurich.

How to watch Mondo Duplantis vs Karsten Warholm 100m sprint?

The race will not be broadcast on television in the United Kingdom but can still be watched online for free.

Viewers looking to tune in can catch the action live-streamed on the Redbull.tv website.

The sprint is also available to be watched on the World Athletics website in the ‘Inside Track’ section.

    Who is likely to win?

While neither athlete specialises in the 100m sprint both have previously recorded impressive times in the past.

Warholm recorded a 100m sprint effort of 10.49 seconds back in 2017, while Duplantis clocked a time of 10.57 just a year later in 2018 when he was still a high school senior.
