How Spain overtook the UK in Covid vaccine rollout
The i says as quickly as the UK began its Covid vaccination programme, it seems to have lost momentum. At least it appears that way in comparison to Spain, which has overtaken it.
Spain has fully vaccinated 57.1 per cent of its adult population, while the UK has managed 56.5 per cent, according to OurWorldinData.com.
Spain has also overtaken Italy, Germany and France in Europe. Of the world’s 50 most populated countries, it is only surpassed by Canada, where 57.98 per cent have received both jabs.
