A man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving over a crash that left six people dead.
The man, of which no further details were given by police, was detained on Wednesday morning while police urged anyone with information about a grey Porsche 911 being driven in the area to contact them.
In an update on Thursday, West Yorkshire Police said he has been bailed.
It comes after four adults and two children died at the scene on the the A61 in a head-on collision on Sunday afternoon, leaving an 11-year-old girl orphaned.
Motorcyclist and pillion passenger Christopher Barton, 56, and Janine Barton, 48, had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and were only 20 minutes away from home after spending the day in Scarborough.
