Hope Street spoilers: DC Leila Hussain’s big secret revealed as new BBC serial drama kicks off with a bang
The Metro says Hope Street kicked off with a bang, with the first episode teasing the shocking reason why protagonist DC Leila Hussain (Amara Karan) has come to Northern Ireland.
The brand new serial drama, which airs daily on BBC One, centres on the lives of the residents and the police department of Northern Irish seaside town Port Devine.
Leila arrived in the sleepy little town during the show’s very first episode on Monday (January 31), and it’s safe to say that her presence caused quite the stir, with B&B owner Concepta O’Hare (Bríd Brennan) quick to ask questions.
