Congratulations are in order for David Tag, who has announced he’s about to become a dad for the second time!
The Hollyoaks star has confirmed that his partner Abi Harrison is pregnant with their second child, after welcoming their first son Reuben in 2021.
David, 38, who played Sylver McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, made the sweet announcement by sharing a picture of his other half and their one-year-old.
The black and white snap showed Abi holding her little boy’s hand while basking in sunny climates.
Abi already boasts a burgeoning bump, highlighted by her tight-fitting summer dress.
David captioned his Instagram post: ‘My little boy is soon going to be a big brother ♥️💙’
The expectant parents were met with a load of congratulatory messages, as fans and friends shared their excitement.
Ex-Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool wrote: ‘Oh my lawwwwd, congrats mate! Big move!’
Dancing On Ice coach Yebin Mok commented: ‘Awww congratulations you two!’
Shortly after the birth of Reuben in 2021, David and Abi spoke about expanding their little family, so we can imagine they’re overjoyed as they await the arrival of baby number two!
David announced Reuben’s arrival with a sweet Insta post in June 2021, uploading a picture of the newborn’s tiny hand.

‘Welcome to the big wide world baby boy 💙💙’, he wrote to his followers.
Several of his Hollyoaks co-stars rushed to congratulate him, as Nikki Sanderson wrote: ‘Ahh amazing!! Congratulations’.
Chelsee Healey typed: ‘Oh my god congratulations all can’t wait too see him’. Actress Nadine Mulkerrin added: ‘Congratulations dude xxx’.
Baby Reuben has featured on David’s social media countless times since he was born, whether it’s family holidays or morning cuddles in bed.

‘One of us finds it hilarious that I’m knackered’, David wrote in January, as the tired first-time dad looked noticeably worn out while sitting in bed next to his giggling son.
The family also recently took a trip away for David’s birthday, as the soap star joked alongside his photos: ‘Not a bad birthday weekend apart from little man eating all my cake’.

David and Abi have been together since 2019 and moved in together just a week before the first Covid-19 lockdown.
Speaking previously to Ok! Magazine, the couple said of their relationship: ‘We moved in together a week before lockdown and then we moved again a week before I gave birth.
‘I think if we can survive all that we can survive anything!’
