Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) successfully obtained a confession from murderer Joseph Holmes (Olly Rhodes) in Hollyoaks, after taking some advice from Grace Black (Tamara Wall).
The detective has been investigating Saul Reeves’ (Chris Charles) murder for a number of months, determined to get evidence to prove that DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) didn’t carry out the crime.
Joseph was apprehended last week, after the full length video of Saul’s attack was given to the police by Vicky Grant (Anya Lawrence) – a video which proved that DeMarcus was innocent.
The recording, however, was seemingly not enough to prove Joseph’s guilt, and with the teen once again in custody due to him breaking his bail conditions, Zoe decided to quiz him some more about Saul’s death.
Her interview tactics weren’t having the desired effect, however, as Joseph repeatedly answered with: “No comment”.
Grace, meanwhile, was determined to ensure that Joseph got what he deserved for murdering her beloved Saul, and thus she offered Zoe some advice, suggesting that she get the teen killed riled up during the interrogation.

Subsequent scenes saw her do just that, and it paid off in a huge way as Joseph struggled to maintain his cool, as he lashed out and confessed to the murder!
The show’s post-credit sequence saw Joseph in tears, alone in his cell, while a triumphant Zoe informed Grace that her advice had paid off.

Metro.co.uk understands that this will serve as Joseph’s final appearance as actor Olly Rhodes’ time on the Channel 4 soap concludes.
