Holly Willoughby wished her sister Kelly happy birthday on Sunday.

The 42-year-old This Morning star’s post follows rumours that Holly has ‘cut ties’ with her ITV co-host Phillip Schofield.

It’s been a dramatic week for the presenters, with insiders alleging that the pair no longer talk behind the scenes and that their friendship had ‘cooled’.

However, Holly made sure to mark her beloved sibling’s big day towards the end of the weekend, writing on Instagram: ‘It’s this beautiful human’s birthday… have the greatest day today and always…I love you so much.’

Holly also posted a gorgeous photo of herself and Kelly, who is the managing director of Holly’s brand Wylde Moon.

Earlier this week, a source close to Holly said she has decided to end her friendship with Phil after an on-screen partnership of 15 years.

Insiders have also been claiming that the mum-of-three will likely present This Morning either with her friend Alison Hammond or on her own, although no official announcement has been made.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: ‘Don’t be surprised if you never see them together again, apart from on camera.

‘This has all been so heartbreaking for Holly, but she knows she has to stand on her own two feet and cut the strings.’

They added: ‘Nobody ever thought it would end like this. They were part of one another’s families, and they spent a lot of their weekends socialising. She has tried so hard.’

On Thursday, Phil appeared to downplay rumours of a feud as he heaped praise on Holly and branded her his ‘rock’.

Speaking to the Sun, he said: ‘As I have said before, Holly is my rock. We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

‘Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.
