Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘wellness routine’, which has gone viral on TikTok, has come under fire.
The Goop founder, 50, who is infamous for her restrictive eating habits, including once going on a macrobiotic diet, shared her latest meal plan.
Appearing on The Art of Being Wellbeing podcast with Dr Will Cole earlier this week, The Shakespeare In Love actress discussed her day-to-day routine, sparking concern.
She said: ‘I eat dinner early in the evening. I do a nice intermittent fast.
‘I usually eat something about 12 and in the morning I have things that won’t spike my blood sugar so that’s why I have coffee.
‘But I really like soup for lunch. I have bone broth for lunch a lot of the days. Try to do one hour of movement, so I’ll either take a walk or I’ll do Pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson.
‘And then I dry brush and I get in the sauna. So I do my infrared sauna for 30 minutes and then for dinner I try to eat according to paleo – so lots of vegetables.’
She concluded: ‘It’s really important for me to support my detox.’
Body positivity influencer Alex Light said the Shallow Hall star’s diet wasn’t a ‘wellness routine’ but ‘hugely disordered eating.’

‘It makes me feel genuinely sad for her or for anyone who has been led to a point where they believe that this is what “wellness” looks like,’ she said.
She continued: ‘Here’s the thing: you don’t need to intermittent fast or time-restrict your food.
‘Bone broth for lunch, especially when you’ve not eaten any breakfast, is just not enough sustenance. You don’t need to eat “paleo” and you don’t need to detox.
