One Rockstar Games fans is so excited about GTA 6 he wants legal permission to not wash for a week while playing it.
The first GTA 6 trailer leaked on Monday night and immediately grabbed the spotlight as the fastest trending video on YouTube, while fans combed through it looking for familiar faces, buildings, and other Easter eggs.
What they found was lots of nods to real-life events such as ‘Miami Joker’ and ‘Hammer Karen’, as well as Rockstar’s favourite beer.
The excitement seems to have been too much for one fan, who immediately prepared a legal document for his girlfriend to sign, so that he can play the game uninterrupted for a week when it comes out in 2025.
The unnamed GTA fan prefaces the ordeal by saying: ‘I’ve written a relationship agreement that says I can play GTA 6 for a full week on release. Now I’m going to get her to sign it.’
In the Twitter video below, he then goes through the agreement with his girlfriend in a very formal tone, showing just how important this is to him, explaining the contract (which even has the GTA 6 logo on it) in full:
‘This is to establish the terms and conditions of this agreement under which the girlfriend leaves the boyfriend alone for a week after the release of GTA 6, allowing the boyfriend to fully emerge himself in playing the game.’

It’s not a complete one-way agreement, however, as the contract also stipulates that the boyfriend must do 30 minutes of house chores a day.
But the agreement also states: ‘There’ll be limited time available for personal care, such as showering, and the girlfriend agrees not to complain about the boyfriend’s personal hygiene during this period.’
The girlfriend, who wisely stays out of sight, signs the document with an understandable lack of enthusiasm, but the boyfriend is very happy with the outcome, as you can see in the video below.
Whether their relationship lasts until 2025 is another matter entirely…
