Four people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a four-year-old boy and two women were killed in a crash.
The women, aged 32 and 28, and the child,> were killed on Wednesday in Worcestershire when the blue Ford Focus collided with a black Audi A7.
West Mercia Police initially believed the Audi was the only other car involved in the crash, but are now linking two other vehicles to the collision.
They have since recovered a Volkswagen Golf and a black Vauxhall Vectra as part of their investigation.
Three men aged 31, 25, 18 and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the triple tragedy, which occurred on the A456 near the Duke William Pub in Callow Hill at 10.15pm.
A woman and two children who were in the Audi were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with minor injuries.
The two women and the child in the Ford Focus were pronounced dead at the scene.

Following the accident, Inspector Stephanie Arrowsmith, of West Mercia Police Operations Policing unit, said: ‘First and foremost our thoughts are with the loved ones of the people who died in the collision.
‘I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information or dash-cam footage which may help with the investigation to call the investigating officers.
