Metro – Found alive kidnap Brit set up ‘by lover’ 

The Metro says the younger girlfriend of a British millionaire who was kidnapped by a gang in Ecuador is being questioned by police amid fears she was involved in the “scam”. 

Colin Armstrong, 78, was abducted on Saturday from a farm he owned near the city of Guayaquil. Accompanying the story is a photo of Armstrong and his girlfriend, as well as a photo released by police of the freed businessman with officers.
