Fernando Alonso has responded to rumors that he is dating Taylor Swift, after sparking up all kinds of speculation.
The Blank Space singer recently made headlines after she split with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, following a six-year relationship.
While the newly-single musician, 33, has been continuing on with her life – and her epic Eras tour – the rumormill has been spinning out of control about her dating life.
In the last few days, she has been linked to the Formula 1 icon, 41, who did nothing to squash the speculation with a very apt TikTok earlier this week.
However, taking part in an interview ahead of this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix race, he was questioned on the claims.
Refusing to be drawn on the discussion, he simply told Marca, via the Daily Mail: ‘I usually keep my personal and professional life apart.
‘I prefer not to comment on it.’
Fernando’s message comes after he sent Swifties into a spin with a very interesting TikTok post at the beginning of the week.
In a new video, he could be seen engrossed on his phone, before looking up at the camera and winking.
Alongside the brief clip – which was set to a remix of Taylor’s hit, Karma – he wrote: ‘Race week era,’ with a wink emoji.

If that wasn’t enough, he slid into his own comments to add: ‘Feeling 33.’
Fernando, please.
Right on cue, fans were living for the content and quickly replied, begging for more details.
‘YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING ALONSO,’ one yelled.

As another screamed: ‘OH MY GOD TAYLOR X FERNANDO CONFIRMED????’
‘The song choice, the wink… now the comment! I can’t deal,’ a follower said.
‘Y’all would make a beautiful couple,’ a TikTok user suggested.
A commenter added: ‘CHOICE OF SONG???!?!!? I’m FULLY invested now.’

Taylor has yet to address the rumors, or speak out publicly about her private life.
The Love Story star has not been far from the headlines after reports emerged that she and Joe had gone their separate ways, at the beginning of the month.
The former couple met at the Met Gala in 2016 and quickly became close, but kept much of their romance away from the limelight.
According to an insider, the Conversation With Friends actor was said to be struggling with the Grammy-winner’s huge fame in the lead up to their split.

‘Joe has struggled with Taylor’s level of fame and the attention from the public,’ they told People Magazine.
‘The differences in their personalities have also become harder to ignore after years together.’

Meanwhile, Fernando is no stranger to a high profile relationship, and was previously married to singer Raquel del Rosario for five years, before they split in 2011.
He was also engaged to TV presenter Lara Alvarez, and most recently dated model Linda Morselli until 2021.
