Fire crews have made some progress against the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires, which are burning on opposite sides of the city. Teams from eight states, Canada, and Mexico are assisting local firefighters.
The death toll has risen to 24, with 16 victims found in the Eaton fire zone and 8 in the Palisades area. Another 16 people remain missing.
Wildfire Update:
- Palisades Fire: Over 23,000 acres burned, 13% contained.
