Daily Express – Failure to halt migration is ‘slap in the face’ for public 

The Daily Express reports on comments by former home secretary, Suella Braverman, on the latest net migration figures from the Office for National Statistics.

Braverman says the migration figures as a “slap in the face” for the British public. As home secretary, Braverman said she had called for measures including an annual cap on net migration, closing the graduate visa route, and a cap on health and social care visas.

The paper reports Braverman has said “enough is enough” and there are fears that immigration is “passing the point of no return”.
