The back page of the Daily Express reports on Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s plans to build a new state-of-the-art stadium for Manchester United that he hopes will become the ‘Wembley of the North.’ Ratcliffe is seeking to build a bigger and better stadium that would rival Wembley.
Internal turmoil at Chelsea also makes the back page, as Blues’ boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly cleared the air with defender Thiago Silva – whose wife seemingly called for Pochettino to be sacked. Despite last season’s massive spending, Chelsea’s troubles continue as the team struggles to break into the top half of the Premier League table.
