Meghan Markle has revealed her son Prince Archie’s new hobby, but apparently he made a specific request that has left royal fans baffled.

Meghan Markle has revealed one of Prince Archie’s new hobbies during one of her latest appearances, but royal fans have been left baffled by a request the four-year-old reportedly made.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared at an event hosted by Netflix on November 15 in a private residence in Montecito, as she moderated a special screening of the platform’s new short film The After, alongside the film’s star David Oyelowo and director Misan Harriman.
In a clip that’s surfaced online, the Duchess of Sussex is seen speaking about how she once bought her four-and-a-half-year-old son a camera and Harriman was showing him how to do photography.
But it seems like Prince Archie had a very particular request regarding the brand of his camera.
Meghan said: “Our four-and-a-half-year-old son, Missan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera. And he said ‘but it’s not a Leica like Misan’s.”

The duchess burst out laughing: “You are not getting a Leica, not even for Christmas.”
Leica cameras are prestigious pieces of photography equipment and are known for their high cost. Their prices vary from £1,000 for the cheaper models but they can climb up to £8,400.
Royal fans were quick to spot the clip and whilst many of them found Archie’s request “cute”, others seemed to think it’s a very “particular one” for a four-and-a-half-year-old.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Archie is into brands at 4? [laughing face emoji]” while another said: “Archie has impeccable taste. A little on the expensive side for a 4yo, but he knows he needs quality.”

A third one added: “Archie is sure a smarty pants” while another one claimed: “From my experience at 5 years old that Leica would be in the family pool in under a week. [laughing face emoji]”
A fifth one said: “Even her kids get audacious & ask for gifts we know good & well he’s not getting” whilst another one wrote: “Well, the boy doesn’t do cheap [laughing face emoji] who can blame him [laughing face emoji]”
